BE THANKFUL FOR WHAT GOD HAS GIVEN YOU, AND DON'T TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HIM.

This phrase was on my mind when I was taking my shower just now. I don't know how, it just struck my head.

You see, this phrase is very easy to understand, very easy to say it out.

E.g. God, through your parents, have provided you with money. Therefore, you should thank Him. However, He knows that the amount of money He has given you is sufficient, so DO NOT try to ask for more so that you can spend on other unneeded stuff.

This is a simple example of thanking God for what He has given us, and not try to take advantage of Him.

See, its a simple theory. It's easy to understand, easy to share with other people(:
BUT, is it that easy to actually apply this theory, this phrase, this VIRTUE every single time?

Personally, I don't really apply this virtue everytime. In fact, I don't apply this theory most of the time. & that's why, I don't call myself a Christian ... ... YET. Because of these little things that I fail to apply as an Image of God, a Child of God, I feel that I am NOT ready to be called a Christian yet, but I will make it someday.





For non-christians, this theory can also be applied to you!

Again, a phrase simple to understand, to share with, but to apply? Well, that depends on yourself :D

E.g. When your mum gives you a piece of chocolate, you should thank her for it, and not ask for more, or make noise that one is not enough.
